My Story

Bienvenidos!! Welcome to Pina or Pineapple Imports! My name is Delia I'm an #HLVBabe & I run a small shop here in Wilmington NC.   I represent Hasta la Vista Exports, and other amazing brands that were born in Guatemala (where I'm from!) the land of forever spring time! I grew up on the shores of Lake Atitlan and had the honor to experience such rich culture at such a young age. Each bag is truly a woven art piece! 

These gorgeous bags are vintage, sustainable, one of a kind, and not to mention, beautiful! All hand picked by me!

The textiles we use for our bags are made from reclaimed vintage huipils (traditional Mayan blouses) that have been handwoven by Mayan artisans in Guatemala for generations. These women proudly carry on a 2,000 + year old tradition of hand weaving one of a kind colorful, artistic textiles on backstrap looms. Each vintage huipil is strategically matched with quality leather and carefully handcrafted into beautiful, one-of-a-kind handbags! Thank you Hasta La Vista Exports!
